About Us
Ledgewood opened its doors in 1980 – over 40 years ago. Since then, we’ve served the needs of our residents round-the-clock. Our entire staff is our team. It’s comprised of nurses, CNAs, those who work in the laundry and housekeeping, maintenance, the staff in the kitchen preparing food and cleaning up, activities, and directors and heads of the various departments. We work together to meet both the long-term needs of our community’s elders and those in need of short-term physical rehabilitation.
We pride ourselves on being a small, independently-owned facility run by people who care for residents as if they were members of their own family, so our adopted motto “where the heart is” is what we strive toward as a team.

Our Caregivers
Each one of the people that work at Ledgewood are caregivers, and that's what makes them so special.
Our nurses and CNAs provide direct care to all our residents. From administering medication to personal care, we have a terrific group of dedicated healthcare workers!
But it’s also members of each of the other departments – laundry, housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, activities, social services, office staff – who are equally as important to the care of our residents. The bonds formed between residents and staff here are very special.
Residents are treated like family, which is what we’re most proud of.
